the founder of Take Care Mommy, wife to Joe, mama to our sweet Adeline Claire, and dog-mom to Bella and Pyper.
Like so many of you, becoming a mom was both beautiful and overwhelming. I quickly realized that while we prepare endlessly for our babies, we often forget to prepare for ourselves. In those early days, even finding a few minutes to pause felt impossible.
For over 15 years, Iâve worked with familiesâas a nanny, pediatric speech-language pathologist, and now as a Newborn Care Specialist and Certified Postpartum Doula. Today, I lead a team of 15+ doulas supporting families across Atlanta and Nashville. But even with all that experience, Iâve felt the same exhaustion and guilt that so many moms carry.
